@WhiskyDick8 the second bottle I bought was a newer year and I agree it isnt quite "wowie" level of delicious. I'll add from the start with this one (both batches) it was about how much you can enjoy it and the package therein being w enjoyed. It goes down so easily but with such a great profile youd think it was wayyyy more age/price etc. Reminds me in a way how Port Charlotte 8y is twice the price of JW green 15y--and rightfully so. The devils in the details. Agree that from a purely value standpoint you can find similarly interesting entries for less but on one hand only so much WT101 and OGD114 a man can drink before they (heaven forbid) become stale. that '18 bottling though is a legitimate showstopper centerpiece. Drink it properly.
@Benji-Robert I feel like there are much better options out there. Elijah Craig, High West, Wild Turkey 101 that gives you much more complex experience. I would use this as a mixer and that's about it.
curious what didnt do it for you? I personally thought it was power brown, vanilla and oak smash through.
