Springbank 21 Year (Single Cask)
Single Malt — Campbeltown, Scotland

Just an other worldly great experience. The underlying malt with the light salts and gentle peat is so deep and complex, it wasn't until my second pour that I realized there was even sherry influence. Of course the perfect blending of oak, spirit, and the finishing of sherry is what brings this one together. Truly an out of body experience.
If I could give more refined scores this would be a 96 or 97.

@KRB80 well this is the single cask which is 49%, not the standard 46% release. They want 480 for the regular 46%...so I haven't had the standard relase. But Springbank is best at higher proof, better mouth feel.
@dhsilv2 That is an absolutely AMAZING steal of a deal!!! Congrats! The newer Bourbon/Rum 21yr just hit my area and I can grab it for $400 but I’ve spent far too much these past couple of months. One day I’ll visit the UK and clean house on everything Springbank.
@KRB80 so the retail was 470 or so but they discounted it to 240 and of course it was cleaned out promptly. Killer value.
$240? Is that an old price or more recent?
