One of my favs. A high proof Rye Whiskey with a surprising smooth finish for the high proof. Just rated an 89 in Whiskey Advocate and a silver medal in London Spirits Competition. More of a Maryland style Rye.

love what is being done at Driftless Glenn. the Rye Whiskey was phenomenal (single barrel, cask strength I bought just rocked!), the restaurant was great, and the cocktail program is fantastic. This is a Distillery to watch as it comes of age.

@dubz480 I’m always glad when a craft distiller makes their own juice...I mean I get it, hard to wait around 3 years to put something to market, so need to source. But something special when making your own
@PBMichiganWolverine Maryland style would be a sweeter softer rye vs Pennsylvania Style which is more brash and spicy. Typically that would indicate a lower rye % in the mashbill (in this case just 51%). Looks like these guys distill and age their own stuff so it's not MGP distillate.
What’s a “Maryland style “ rye? ( generally MGP based ones have a dill like quality. Wondering if this is MGP sourced)
