From the first moment I opened the bottle, I was immediately entranced by the peaty smoke. It was a smokiness that was sweeter than Lagavulin, with more vanilla and a slight hint of saltiness. The first taste was mellow with the same flavor profile as in the nose. Strong, but not offensive smoke, sweet vanilla, and a briny/salty/oceanic flavoring. No burn in the mouth or on the way down. Will definitely buy another bottle.
