A German Rye from a German distillery using German Grains finished in ex white wine casks. Interesting! The combination is a typical rye profile which is more rich and earthy blended with dry wine flavours e.g. green pepper. I wouldn't say I'm a big fan but it definitely has style and uniqueness and the flavours blend well.

@Rick_M For the next year or two anyway :-)
@sobs45 - you are definitely the sample king! :)
@dubz480 wow. Interesting background! I bet you’d have amazing stories to tell from such a diverse upbringing.
@dubz480 The story gets more and more interesting. Real life is more fascinating than fiction when it comes to people's lives. I'm always interested in people's life stories.
@Soba45 actually I am a 3rd generation Nigerian (of British decent as I am sure you know Nigeria was once a British colony). My grand father started a mattress manufacturing company that my father now runs and distributes all over west Africa.
@dubz480 Gees, never expected Nigeria. Your parents in the oil industry or diplomatic or something different?
@Soba45 Yes sir. I grew up in Nigeria as matter of fact and now live in Arizona, USA. I have also visited your beautiful country and walked where the Hobbits once roamed! 😂.
@dubz480 Ah interesting. Geographically diverse upbringing!
@Soba45 yes sir. Went to boarding school in England so made my way to France on multiple occasions!
@dubz480 Ah nice! Have you been to France before?
German Rye at 110 proof! Signed me up. I am off to Paris for Biz next month, will have to look this up!
