Very smooth for its price. Good entry level brandy for people watching their spending. The flavor of vanilla cream is very prominent, and it's always a joy to have a bottle of this.

@Nintos Yeah same on the brandy. And good! Russian Stand is unbelievably smooth. Thanks for the info brother.
@Brandyman Lol well luckily the signature Laubade is like 30 bucks at Total Wine if you have one of those sorts of chains nearby. I haven’t tried TOO many brandies but I can safely say brandy is one of my favorite spirits. Good luck on future bottles, and I’m definitely taking your advice on your vodka recommendations btw. I’ve been looking for an affordable but actually enjoyable vodka, so I’m happy to see you’ve tasted some.
@Nintos Not really, not for you lol. You already seem to know about my favorites. But I'll give the XO a try ASAP. As for the other, I feel like I'll have to save up a bit before I try it.
@Brandyman Well you obviously know your stuff too! I recently tried an Armagnac from Chateau de Laubade, their signature bottle, and it was almost everything I wanted from a brandy. Never had Armagnac before that so maybe it’s not superb, but with my standards it’s worth a try. E&J’s XO is a cool one to try because it’s so maple heavy and unlike most other brandies. Also it’s dirt cheap lol. Just don’t expect too much grape, but it’s an oddball worth checking out if you haven’t already. Let me know if you have any suggestions, too!
@Nintos yeah man it's my go to. Of all the things I've tried for the price, this goes down the best neat. You seem to know a thing or two though. If you can give me some suggestions I'd appreciate it.
E&J’s always got that distinct vanilla, but it definitely is something I always come back to! Affordable brandy at a drinkable level of sophistication ;)
