I made a 30 mile road trip for a bottle of Elmer-T.....I found out the electronic inventory sheet for the liquor store was a day behind......I REFUSE to leave a liquor store "empty-handed"....especially a 30 mile one way trip. After MUCH coin flippin/chicken bone toss'n, I decided to try the High West. My first taste was....cross between, Irish whiskey and gosh knows what. It is BLENDED whiskey....it tastes very mellow...almost a "can't-put-my finger-on-it"....flavor. It was certainly a pleasant taste...easy sippin...My neighbor enjoyed a pour without ice or water. The bottle is worth saving... I would recommend this spirit..(if the price is right!) CHEERS! As a bit of an update...I had a neat of this at home last night....the alcohol burn was clearly a wake up. This spirit does have an over the top bite on first sip....
