Glenfarclas 18 Year

Single Malt — Highlands, Scotland

3.75 out of 5 stars
Nose: sweetness, hints of honey, citrusy, oak, red fruits and a bit of vanilla. Typical sherry notes but not an oloroso explosion. No alcohol evident. Mouth: spiciness and some bitterness. sweetness, oakiness, citrusy, some honey and vanilla. It dries your mouth for a while and its oiliness makes you salivate back the whisky flavors. Finish: medium-short finish. Overall impression: nor complex but well balanced whisky. It may pass the impression of a younger dram, however a very rounded one. Awesome cost x benefit.
