Was recently at a drammers club event in which we selected among 6 barrels for barrel to be selected, only available to whisky clubs. We also tried a few dusties, including this one from the 1940s. Shortly after world war 2 there was a time some would understate ages as not many wanted overoaked bourbon. This was my favorite dusty with notes of vanilla, caramel, coconut, marshmallow, floral, corn, a little pepper, and grass.
