As a longtime Makers fan, I figure I’d try a 375ml bottle of Makers 46. I’m glad I didn’t purchase a full sized bottle. It’s like standard Makers with more wood. The finish is raw 2x4 that I can’t shake. I can’t recommend this whiskey. I will use it in mixed drinks until it’s finished. I love a woody finish, but this flavor is unrefined. It’s like raw lumber.
