Nine out of ten times, can’t really go wrong with a Compass Box blend. They are masters of blending, and unfortunately, people have noticed which makes their prices skyrocket.
This one here, the pour courtesy from my buddy @LeeEvolved, is no exception. It’s pricey (now over $120), but it’s so damn good.
Light, lemon-y, a touch of brine and a kick of smoke. So damn good. I’m glad I bought a bottle. If you like peated, but not a smack in your face, then this is right up your alley.
Thanks Lee!

@PBMichiganWolverine Ah nice that'll be an interesting experience, looking fwd to the review to see what you think :-)
@Soba45 I got the new No Name as well—-the Ardbeg is replaced by a Talisker. That’ll be interesting
@AntonioSchmid No Name is like Mike Tyson. Comes at you hard and strong. You’ll feel that hit. It’s got Ardbeg at its core. This here is more gentle and elegant. Not any less complex, just lighter.
I managed to get a hold of a sample which I'm looking fwd to. No name is top so far followed by spice tree extravaganza. hopefully this rounds out the top 3!
@PBMichiganWolverine How this one compares to No Name? I have both and was wondering...
