Took me a few years to warm up to the 1792 brand but this stuff is good for those that like cask strenght. Nose is a punch in the face overproof kinda bourbon but a splash of water to open it up releases a sensation of caramel, florals, and apricots. The taste leads to a little spicy cinnamon and varnish with the good burn going down that you would expect from a cask strength whiskey. A new addition to my list to always keep on hand.
