If Aunt Jemima made moonshine instead of maple syrup this is what you’d end up with. I’d elaborate but after having one of these my blood sugar spiked and I’m just now coming out of a diabetic coma lol. This is artificial maple syrup pretending to be bourbon. If you’re a bourbon “purist” this is a hard pass, just put this bottle down and walk away.

So one of my IHOP buddies bought this, hence my taste. Since we’ve found this basically undrinkable (and what the heck would you mix it with 🤷🏼♂️) we decided to try cooking with it. It does make a “reasonable” ham glaze IF you like a sweet ham. If you have a meat smoker it worked pretty well as a base for your pork rub. His most inventive use is on his pancakes. He pours it into those mini Cracker Barrel bottles and uses on pecan pancakes. IMO any of these ideas works better than drinking it neat... WHOA!
