Very smooth, as expected with a wheated bourbon. Definite caramel apple on the nose with light oak as well. The palate is smooth but actually has some light spice in there, which is surprising for a mashbill without rye. It’s a decent finish that balances with the nose nicely, same flavor profiles. Value-wise, I’m not sure if it’s worth the ~$60 tag, but you could do worse in that range too. 7.5/10
