Nose is cedar wood and mild apple. First sip is mildly sweet, with notes of apple and rye mingling before an influx of baking spices that linger for a long time. Interestingly, a splash of water adds to the spices and diminishes the apple notes. This makes it a little less enjoyable on its own, but makes for a more flavorful cocktail. Overall, this is a pretty solid Rye.
