Sweet nose. First sip immediately rewards your nose with a smooth corn sweetness. Finish transitions to a nice amount of spice and heat that lingers. Adding a drop or 2 of water reveals a middle stage, where the corn sweetness transitions to a buttery caramel prior to the spice. Served on ice, the drink loses the final spice finish. This is definitely a Bourbon best served neat or maybe with a couple drops of water.
