Nose is brown sugar and cherries. A slight classic Jim Beam nuttiness comes through on the nose after a few sips. Palate is sweet at first then cherries.Then some leather comes out on the back of the palate along with some oak. There is a nice oily coating on the tongue as well. The finish is on the longer side of medium and some heat comes along with it. Overall, very good bourbon that drinks below it’s proof.
