Ordered at a bar, served in a rocks glass. Nose has a decent amount of vanilla sweetness and some brown sugar. Along with alcohol burn. The palate is not too sweet with some baking spices and a very nice leather note going on. The medium finish let’s you know it’s barrel proof as it goes down. I added some water halfway through and that smoothed it out a little, but didn’t really add anything. Overall, it’s nice. A little bit on the alcohol fumes side for me. But enjoyable.
