Amrut Intermediate Sherry

I need to figure out if I need more of this before it's gone.
Nose - There is just something about Amrut. It's dusty, it's oakey, it's sweet, but there's something so complex and different. Sherry notes are here but they're just up front. The mid and finish are all about this oak that's been roasted, spice I can't figure out, and malt that makes no sense. I get some vanilla, some oak spice, a hint of cherry with sherry notes,
Taste - super oakey and spicey with vanilla, charred black oak notes, toasted barrel, some chocolate, and you know I don't normally spell this out but there's a huge amount of European oak.
I need another bottle of this badly. So badly.

Yet another review that makes me sad I can't find this to try it. Why does Amrut discontinue amazing products like this and the kadhambam?
@SpartaTodd lol, shoulda gotten reference. well done
@dhsilv2 It was a riff off of this classic Ron Swanson. lol. Happy Holidays! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QSYZAf1ra5s
@SpartaTodd like I'd go see a doctor :) But yeah....more than he'd be happy with. That said *most* of that was sold to a friend.
@dhsilv2 : 2 Doctor: 2 bottles. @dhsilv2 : 2 shelves.
Doctor: How much whisky do you drink a month @dhsilv2 ?
@dhsilv2 The industry thanks you for your sacrifice
@Richard-ModernDrinking i've cleared 2 shelves of whiskies that had been there for 5+ years in the last month. I dunno man lol.
@dhsilv2 I’m sure I’ll succumb to the temptation before they sell out. Looks like they had been there a while so unlikely they’ll disappear soon.... I think.
@Richard-ModernDrinking at 99 bucks, yes you do! I love this stuff and have been wanting another one (and I just realized I should have bought one today).
I always regretted not buying a bottle of this and just came across a store that had three left for $99 each. And yet, do I really need another bottle of whisky?
This is probably my second favorite Amrut. Loved it.
