Nose: barrel and char, buttery biscuits, brown sugar. Pepper. Faint vanilla. Palate: brown sugar, oak, barrel. Tannin. Vanilla in the back. Toasted biscuits with vanilla. Dark fruits in the back. Other notes: this is my favorite daily drinker. An honestly impressive whiskey for the price, but not overly fussy. Enough to go exploring, but doesn't demand your undivided attention.
