Smooth, Oakey, long finish and good rye bite. Less vanilla than expected. Maybe got the wrong barrel. Would rate better, but have had better single barrel options (Knob Creek Single Barrel Reseve 9 Yr). Same price, readily available, higher proof. And tastes better. Not giving up on this one just yet but I have had better. Maybe will get a better barrel next time.
