Weller Antique 107 Single Barrel
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA

Two weeks since I’ve had a proper pour —might as well make it count by having a rather hard to come by Weller 107 store pick. I don’t think I’ve had a Weller before, or for that matter maybe even a wheated bourbon.
For 107 proof, this is quite smooth and silky. I’m really not the feeling the heat as I should. It’s also sweeter than most bourbons I’ve had; cinnamon roll and oak on the palette, with a long vanillin finish. For $50, this is a no-brainer buy.
Thanks to @dubz480 for this generous sample!

@PBMichiganWolverine certainly more plausible, but I can still dream!
@bigwhitemike my bet is on the first option...my boy @dubz480 has an inside man in the Costco stocking dept 😊
@PBMichiganWolverine ... the mystical AZ Costco. Either @dubz480 is the liquor dept stocking clerk, or I’m convinced it truly is the land of plenty as described in Spanish legends of the new world.
@Sebron-Miller the Full Proof is silly expensive here...I need a Costco like the one @dubz480 has
Weller Antique 107 is my favorite... if you get a chance to taste the Weller Full Proof I think you’ll find it just as enjoyable
@Clarkebar and Weller is so hard to find here in the NorthEast, at least for a reasonable price
Glad you tried and liked it. I love Weller anything but since Summer started have missed out on two different Whiskey email offerings involving Weller due to va-cas. DOH! As they say: "timing is everything".
Nice review...got my bottle for $26
@Richard-ModernDrinking it's a local AZ pick. It's from Fox's Cigar Bar out here in Phoenix.
@dubz480 which store pick is this?
Glad you enjoyed it! cheers!
