James-Corcraighe
Connemara Original Peated Single Malt
Single Malt — Ireland

Irish double distilled, peated whiskey.
Ticks a lot of boxes in complexity, but nothing seems to stand out or wow me.
Light bodied for a double, not classic Irish triple distillation. Not heavy on the bourbon casks, which is surprising considering the colour, which leaves me to believe colouring is added. The peat is nice and gentle followed by a silky Honeysuckle and Apple Crumble sweetness.
If you can't decide between an Islay or a Lowland Scotch, this meets them dead in the middle.
