Light peat, fruitier than I expected. A good dram with a great back story! Worth the $65 I paid for it.

K&L has gotten a new supply of this for $69.99 - I don’t think this will become ‘collectible’, but it’s very drinkable at that price!
@Rick_M It’s a mix but I generally only buy bottles if I’m splitting them with others or they are very rare. Most of my reviews here are of samples.
@Rick_M @Richard-ModernDrinking. This one seems less of a marketing gimmick than GoT...but with that said, I’m just not curious enough to buy a full bottle. Would rather buy a sample instead .
@Richard-ModernDrinking - do you drink everything you buy, or do you collect stuff as well. You certainly seem to find new releases before anyone else.
@Rick_M It’s on my radar - I’m waiting for my local retailer to get it in. The Lag 8 and 9 were good, and I’ll excuse the shameful 10 on the grounds that most duty free editions are disappointing, so I’m hopeful for this one.
@Richard-ModernDrinking - I’d like your opinion as well.
@PBMichiganWolverine - i’ve seen this in a bunch of places in the $80 range. I’ve passed because I don’t want to get caught up in the GOT and other marketing hype crap going on. Do you think this one will become a collectible? I doubt I would buy it to drink because I’m just not that curious and i’m still working on a case of Laga16.
The PLCB had it for $85 but gone now.
I think I just saw this on whiskybarrel.com for $257USD. Highway robbery.
