The nose on this was mighty sweet. You can easily pick out the oranges. First sip is a mix of sweet and subtle spice. A smooth mouthfeel with the sweetness of the rock candy is followed by a transition to the orange. As you swallow, it is chased by the subtle Rye spice. Overall, not quite enough depth of flavor or spice, but definitely not bad. Does make a great introduction for the Whiskey shy/scarred, as the sweetness and lack of punch from the spice aren't as bold as a traditional Rye.
