Bloody hell I have no idea why this is so lowly rated.. straight out of gate it was beautiful without any water. Sweet peated vanilla, nutmeg and cinnamon. By the end there was the edges of lemony peat coming out which I'm not a huge fan of but still impressive dram. A must try for any Ardbeg fan.

@Soba45 Yes, it was from Ian at SMWhisky. I've almost exhausted he range of samples now - I think there's only about 20 I've yet to try.
@cascode Nice :-). I'm pretty sure we bought it at the same place! SM whiskey is awesome..so much cheaper than MoM for samples. Look fwd to your review
You inspired me. I had a sampler of this in the sample drawer and after the bottom-shelf spirits I've been reviewing just recently I thought I deserved something special. I was not disappointed. Review incoming.
