I had great intentions when I went into my local liquor store to purchase a non alcohol gin type spirit. After tasting a couple of varieties and then being offered the real stuff my resolve crumbled and i ended up walking out with a bottle of the Scapegrace Gold. This i also got to try and it was a nice drop. A gin for people who don't like gin apparently and I can see why, not as full on gin profile and very drinkable straight. A mix of Juniper, Lemon Peel, Orris Root, Rosemary and Lavender.

@cascode They distill it like real gin, infuse it then strip the alcohol out (well Seedlip does), others use different methods. Doesn't taste like the real thing neat but I'd say you can mix it into a cocktail ok. Google non alcoholic spirits.. there are loads even whiskies which aren't whiskies:-)
@Soba45 Non-alcohol gin-type spirit? That never blipped on my radar - what is it, some sort of cordial?
@Soba45 I got all three b/c it was free shipping with 3. And $10 off. The cocktails with the Spice were a super hit with the non-drinking crowd this last weekend
@PBMichiganWolverine Ah damn I avoided the spice and bought the citrus!
@Soba45 AVOID the citrus. It’s lemon water. With more on the water, less on the lemon profile. The Garden sucked as well. But, I did really like Spice. That had this nice clove-peppercorn thing going. I made a lemongrass -ginger tea, super concentrated, and added in some of the Spice. Was amazingly good.
@PBMichiganWolverine Yeah I tried their garden variety which was like drinking chopped parsley. hopefully citrus is better
I’ve been trying Seedlip non-alcohol—-a far cry from the real stuff. And more expensive too.
