Pepper is an obvious scent on top of honey and stone mashed agave. Large amounts of black pepper, almost to a spicy degree, come forward on the taste, but the agave sweetness does eventually tone everything back, and after a while, the true finish finally arrives with a surprisingly clean agave taste for the Patron brand.
