Talisker, Linkwood, Cragganmore and Caol Ila all 15 years minimum in a blend??? Whisky Tango Foxtrot, sign me up! Good on Diageo for putting this out there. A blend of single malts/vatted malt. It’s really good. I like it better than Johnny Walker Blue. It’s very mellow and not too peaty but has a little touch of smoke. Super easy to drink and not expensive. Sometimes you just want an easy, non-challenging whisky that tastes good and goes down without a fight. This is perfect for those times - Kudos to the master blender. The Distiller score is pretty legit. This goes into regular rotation!

@Benji-Robert Try JW Blue the way I did. For free. Mooching off my neighbor. In exchange he gets to drink my JW Green and Talisker 10. It’s a win fir all!
"I could buy two or three bottles of green label for that" is what keeps me from having tried blue despite being a big JW fan.
Nice review. I have a bottle and a sample that I must crack open this Christmas break.
It's not that complex or challenging but it is a quality blend. Very good juice in there.
Great review Sparta, I havent had this yet but gonna need to get some soon I like the black quite a bit and know this is a big step up
