Having just tried some Buffalo Trace, I thought that BT was about to top my list of bourbons but upon nosing this and immediately getting that amazing Dreamsicle smell, I'm reminded of why Woodford Reserve is just one of the best whiskeys out there. A nice alcoholic bite hits you as you chew the whiskey in an attempt to get more of that astounding oak-y flavor out of it. It doesn't quite have the sweetness of Buffalo Trace but it doesn't need it.
