I honestly didn't expect much out of this as I'm not usually a fan of Highlands scotch but wow, I was wrong. The instant chocolate-cream note on the nose immediately let me know that I was in for a great experience. I usually prefer that dark islay smoke from a scotch, but damn, this has a nice sweetness that I didn't expect to fall in love with. Nice and oily feel in the mouth that coats your tongue with awesome chocolate love. Very pretty and lovely with nice honey notes and a few hints of smoke to remind you that you're drinking scotch.
