The nose is very sweet, showcasing a lot of cherry, vanilla, and maybe a hint of brown sugar and butterscotch. The taste retains these characteristics, but adds a hefty dose of oak to the mix, with the cherry becoming dominant and the vanilla mostly provided a creamy undercurrent. The finish is a little tart making the cherry seem slightly underripe.
