Bad Diageo! Bad. I had this at a friend's house. The marketing tie in made me nervous as did the requisite chilling. The bottle and graphics are truly amazing. It would be a nice collectible but how does it taste? It was really awful. I could not finish my dram. After a couple of sips, it was a drain pour and now that drain hates me like Gollum hates Bilbo. Forever! I hope Diageo is making this for the suckers to fund really good and affordable Talisker! I am starting a SpartaTodd rule that the graphics and bottle design is inversely proportional to the quality of the juice inside. If the goal was to make a whisky that matched Season 8 GoT then... SUCCESS!

I will give Compass Box an exemption to the rule! They rock...
Compass Box would like to have a word about your bottle hypothesis...
Further evidence of the inverse proportionality hypothesis: Springbank. Worst bottle design out there, except for maybe Corsair.
Dang, now I actually want to try this. It doesn't even sound good enough to mix.
The rule is valid. Cases at hand: Longmorn and Arran. Also, if prerequisite chilling is not a strong giveaway as to its quality (as in lack of) then we’ve all missed that particular class during our whisky education.
Definitely a mixer!
This one was tolerable when I followed the instructions to ice the bottle. Not good, mind you, but tolerable. Glad it was only a sample...
My college going niece thought this was the best invention since sliced bread. Those kids were drowning this in soda , which come to think of it, is the only palatable way to probably have it
