[Revisited 12/12/16]: It's been quite some time since I last spoke about this dram, but I'll save the sentiments. Smooth, grassy, oily, touch of honey, and rich in super overripe banana. Unfortunately there is a nasty burnt oak/old leather aftertaste that sticks around longer than the flavor does, and over the years I've become repelled by the sticky sweetness. I would still say to give it a go to see how it matches up with the traditional 30$ Irish fair to see which direction your whiskey adventures will take you next. For now, I'm done with this expression.
