This was my first "premium" purchase, so I treated this like gold. It was also the first whiskey that piqued my interest in really getting to know the textures and flavors of spirits. The nose is aromatic, floral, and fruity. This is one of the smoothest Irish whiskies I've had that was complemented by it's complexity. Creamy vanilla, a dash of fruit, and a swift spicy finish. The oakiness is a give or take for me, since I think Green Spot's green apple bitterness leaves a better impression. No water necessary!
