Nose: first scent that hit me was warm baked bread. The only other hint or a scent that was noticeable was leather.
Palate: warm - not spicy. Hints of vanilla and oak. Tastes like a bourbon should - nothing fancy. Mouthfeel was medium - possibly a little thin. As a fan of rye bourbons I was pleasantly surprised how much I liked this bourbon.
Finish: very pleasant warm going down. Does not linger on tongue. The hints of tobacco that comes through at the end makes it pair well with a nice cigar.
