Nose: Apple, orange rinds, powdered sugar, hay, wet dirt. Taste: Apple, juicy fruit, hot pie filling, cinnamon, dark chocolate, leather. Experience: Eating the fresh baked fruits in pie, tarts, or another treat. It's too hot to eat all of but your mouth starts to water and you bite in anyway, it is too hot but still worth it. It's a juicy bourbon for sure, proof hounds won't be disappointed. It does have a lot to offer, but in my opinion it falls short of some other cask strength options. But that is more praise for those than a knock against 1792, place it between Elijah Craig barrel proof and Bullet barrel proof. If that makes sense.
