My first foray into peat, was definitely afraid since people I knew called it the palate killer.
Nose: salty, briny, smoked jerky, after exhausting my nose to those smells, I get some sort of fruit zest and vanilla
Taste: Smokey, salty, charred meat, light sweetness on end
Finish: there’s a subtle heat, like embers in a fireplace that just sit there. Feel like all parts of my mouth are being triggered. Not localized to one area. Long Finish. Still present after much time.
