Nose: Brown sugar, malt notes, caramel, oak and Sherry. Palate: Red apples, oily, again some caramel and oak with some vanilla and delicate bitterness with some spice. Finish: Medium. Spicy and bitter. This will always be remembered as the whisky I had while pondering whether or not to buy a house. The Glenlivet 18 was a nice dram that night and helped buying the house!
