This rum grew on me. At first it seemed fairly ordinary, but the more I drink it the more I like it. It has a natural brown-sugar sweetness although no sugar is added. There is a spicy element to it, along with a hint of vanilla. It has a nice, full flavor that is more complex than it seems at first. I will likely buy this again.
