Added a few drops of water this time. I'm trying to learn how to taste, and describe what I taste. The corn taste I usually get from bourbon isn't as pronounced this time. Still sharp, which I like. And strong. Banana? Caramel; no, more like butterscotch. Am I picking up a trace of smokiness? Or do I just think I should? Definitely some spices, but I'm not good at picking them out.
