When I first opened it I found it to be like most Highlands on the nose and the taste was just wood and meh. I had written it off and poured it for some friends from time to time while I enjoyed something else. I tried it again last night and WOW. The oxidation has kicked in and this stuff is AMAZING!!! The finish and aftertaste for hours just makes me think of grape juice. Fruity goodness. Now it is a favorite and I will definitely replace the bottle after I finish it
