Single Malt — Campbeltown, Scotland

Bottle 1/4 full - 2019 version
Nose: orange, smoke, tropical fruits.
Taste: curve-ball with vanilla, but brine and smoke are the most prominent.
Finish, medium length ash and salt.
Thoughts: Heard this was the year to buy the Springbank 10. It was an enjoyable experience, and I would buy it as a gift for someone. However, there isn't enough of a draw to keep me from trying other whiskies around this price. If I'm going to pay $75-$80 on a bottle, I'm going to be adventurous, and not rehash a good experience at a fair value.
5.0 - go out and buy all of the stock you can find.
4.0 - must buy at least one bottle before you die.
3.0 - solid, must try at a bar, or mooch from a friend.
2.0 - didn't like it, you may.
1.0 - you may have the palate of my dog, and he licks his own ass.
