Nose - bananas, vanilla, caramel, creme brulee, slight astringent quality from the oak Palate - initial hit of sweetness, higher proof is evident. Rich oak and some nice rye spice following Finish - lingering, spicy and rich. A great Bourbon, full flavored and seems to be rye forward, although not ridiculously complex. Very good Bourbon to sip, and would probably also make a great whiskey cocktail!
