Tried this at a friend’s house. First time trying Baijiu. This has lots of interesting fruity esters but it makes my mouth gag with this coming from someone who has had many high proof whiskies, rums, brandies, tequilas, and mezcals.
Nose: Guava, Banana, Mango, Pineapple, Papaya, Citrus, Earth, Orange, Peach, Watermelon
Palate: Grain, Tropical Fruit, Vanilla, Creamy
Finish: Tropical Fruit, Chocolate, Cherry, Coconut

@PBMichiganWolverine No - I guess he listed it here because there is nowhere else to put it. Baijiu is a distillate made from fermented sorghum. There are many different styles, even just under the Kweichow Moutai brand. This sounds like one of the better ones. The only baijiu I've tasted was like fermented dark soy sauce and diesel oil. Distiller needs a category for "Other".
Is this really vodka...or something else ?
