Dramfest 2020. Nice drop but I tried after the Anrut range, Chairman's reserve, Kadhambam and Naarangi and so didnt really stand a chance.

@Anthology Yes definitely. There are a lot of factors which can swing things. Drinking to much other whisky together is probably the biggest. I'd say I could easily swing .5 score either way on some of these Dramfest drams (well the mid to late sessions anyhow). It's all relative I guess. Right at the beginning I tried a great CS Benromach thought woah 4.25 but then 10 mins later trying a 40 yr version which really exposed the CSs youth and rawness and so it's score plummeted.
@Soba45 I'm wondering if you're perspective and rating would be different if you reviewed it singularly by it's own merits and not in comparison to those great Amrut drams?
@1901 Yeah I wouldn't mind trying earlier next time or by itself. Harder to get the most of some whiskies in that environment
I had this at WhiskeyLive last Nov and it stood out for me as one of the better ones.
