Spicy rye, eucalyptus, sweet sasperella. I've moved away from bourbon and rye drinking (or at least enjoyment of a lot of the entry to mid range stuff) in the last year or so but now and then you get flashes of perhaps not brilliance but a good combination of flavours, balance and quality at a decent price. This is one of those drams for me that still keeps me dipping my toes and taste buds into the bourbon and rye whiskey world despite me falling out of love with the general flavour profile.
