The last in the series of drams sent to me by @cascode. This is a nice one both straight and excellent with an East Imperial tonic. 4 straight and 4.25 with the tonic.
Thanks once again cascode for the amazing diversity in tasting across the spirit world. I doubt I'll ever get to try such diversity in a tasting set ever again!
Update: This gin has ruined most other gins for me. Usually I get bored of a bottle and give it away...of any type of spirit. This gin after the sample from @cascode I bought and finished an entire bottle in record time. I avoided buying it again as it was too addictive. Now I'm drinking other gin I thought meh night and day it is waaay better. Unfortunately it's sold out at my usual retailer..buy buy with confidence...4.25 in the overall spirit world upgraded to a 4.5 in the gin world. VFM in this day and age is astounding

@cascode Ah good tip will have to try that mixer. East Imperial does a great grapefruit gin. South East Asian Pomelo and Ruby Red Grapefruit make a great combo https://eastimperial.com/products/grapefruit-tonic?variant=7949301710890
Straight tonic, or 50/50 tonic and soda water, with a slice of lime is an excellent alcohol-free cooler.
@cascode I always am very keen even if I don't enjoy trying unusual stuff and there was definitely a bit of that in the mix along with some great classic spirits like this one. These days I quite like tonic by itself for some reason but this one really took it up a notch and such great value to.
Glad you enjoyed the range of experiences (even if some were education by repugnance). Agreed, this is a top shelf gin at a reasonable price - in fact it's probably my go-to at the moment.
