Hmm once you get a bit of water in to tame the beast it's not too shabby at all.
Slightly orange plasticky nose the palate once watered is still slightly harsher as most CS mid range Arrans are..very rough and ready for the most part. Still not to bad a dram..it has flavour and character..wouldn't be clambering for a bottle though.

@cascode Indeed it is. All decent drams I rated them all 3.75s to 4. Rough and ready wasn't meaning they were crap just that they aren't as polished in their delivery as other drams..maybe they are ones you have to tweak in terms of time, water and temperature to get just right...
Is this another in the same series as the Cote-Rotie, Amerone, Sauternes and Port finish expressions? I thought they were all pretty good. Rough & ready? Hmm - we'll have to differ on that.
