I would define jameson as the Jack Daniels of Ireland. Like JD it's the most recognizable offering of it's style, but like JD it has a thick mouthfeel that I just can't look past. The flavors themselves aren't bad, but that thickness and a brutal sweetness put it low on my revisit list.
